I'm Zwirbel, a mythical cow from Switzerland. I want to be the smartest and best cow in the world.
Why a mythical cow?
Contrary to real animals, mythical animals can talk, travel and do just about everything we humans do. Through their actions they can build a bridge between the world of fantasy and our everyday world. The mythical cow Zwirbel loves the beauty, the flowers and the yummy herbs of the Swiss Alps. But she also loves to travel, and with the help of the stars, she visits many parts of the world. On her journeys she meets weird and interesting creatures and people: a king who throws bears into the sky; a creature part fish and part bear who wants to swim home to Japan; and many more. Zwirbel learns a lot from the creatures she meets. For example, a famous musician teaches her not to judge things by their physical appearance, but to look for the beauty within. He also makes her realize that we all have the responsibility to take care of the things we cherish and love.
